“Binds Us Together”

I come from a really rough background. It affects me every day. I live in fear. I get depressed. I was homeless for a long time. I have high anxiety and I struggle with being paranoid. I’ve learned that I can’t live by my fears. I can’t let them rule me. I can’t really make my fears go away, but I’ve learned that if I work at it, I can make my fears behave.

I think I’m doing pretty damn good right now. I have a roof over my head and a refrigerator full of food. I should be damn thankful because that is love.

I believe that love and human connection binds us together. I try to push myself to show up even if I’m scared, I try to love anyway.
