"People look at us differently; it's like they think all the homeless people are bad."
(A documentary short film)
It is pretty much the "way of the world" to look at somebody and instantly make a judgement based on what we see externally - your clothes, car, job, physical looks, house, and much more. These quick assessments can lead us to wrong conclusions time-after-time...we fail to see the one-of-a-kind miracle creation each human is.
Here are Kevin's powerful words about being judged: "People look at us differently; it's like they think all the homeless people are bad. There's a lot of people who judge us, and I don't want to be judged. God is the only one who can judge me. It's not fair for people to treat you like a piece of dirt, whether you're out here on the street. No matter where you're at, you're a human being."
